Our Villa was clean, very well appointed and every thing we had hoped for . Despite unseasonably cold weather we enjoyed a week of beach walks, bike riding and excellent accommodations. The on site restaurant was an extra surprise. Our Villa (287) had lovely furnishings, was fully outfitted and even had ocean views. We will definitely plan a return visit and will not hesitate recommending it to our friends. Our experience did not bear out all of the negative hype about Jekyll accommodations. – Atlanta, GA

WE stayed at Villas by the Sea in December. For the same price of many of the other properties on the island we had more than just a room we had a beautiful, large condo to relax in, so we felt we got a much better deal for the money.. The grounds are will maintained and the boardwalk is fantastic. It is true that during high tide the boardwalk replaces the beach, however it provides a great place to get some sun, be near the water and we were not just between the dunes and the rocks. We noticed they were renovating the stairwells to the Condos, which mades us realize they cared about what their customers had to say. We will return to Villas by the Sea the next time we visit Jekyll Island. -Brockway, PA
